UK ASB hosts two Weekend Service Trip each Fall and Spring Semester. Our Weekend Service Trips are a wonderful opportunity for students to get involved with UK ASB, who have limited time or funds to commit. UK ASB volunteers who participate in Weekend Service Trips take part in group building exercises, reflection, and direct service. Additionally, volunteers gain hands-on experience working with a social issue while joining like-minded UK students in community service in and beyond the Lexington area. Volunteers are introduced to and encouraged to explore future service opportunities, whether with UK ASB or through another program giving back in the Lexington area.
