Director of ASB

Grace Brecht

Grace Brecht is the 2023-24 director of ASB. She is a senior majoring in Spanish Language & Linguistics. She first got involved with ASB on a trip to Narrow Ridge Earth Literacy Center during her sophomore year. Her favorite thing about ASB is getting to meet kind, bright people who are passionate about making a difference in the world.

Cierra Couch and Ari Rodrigues Patrus Almeida

Ari is a Co-Internal Relations Chair for ASB this year. She’s a junior majoring in International Studies and Environmental Sustainability. She first got involved in ASB her freshman year, when she went on the Tennessee trip, and fell in love with the work the organization does! As Site Leader last year, she led the trip to Atlanta, GA, and truly believes in the impact of ASB on and off-campus.

Public Relations Chair of ASB

Kayla Johnson

Kayla Johnson is a third year student studying Psychology and Spanish. She’s the public relations chair for ASB. Kayla first became involved in ASB by attending the Affordable Housing trip to Winston-Salem, NC. Motivated by the impact of ASB, her goal is to attend law school and push for social change.

Advise and oversee the executive team and program as a whole
Serve as a professional resource for interested students, participants, advisors, and student leadership
Facilitate the yearly transition of student leadership and ensure the mission/vision are retained
